Product description

Odor-Reducing Activated Carbon Filter

All filter consumables are made of degradable materials.

Compost sometimes produces an unpleasant odor. Instead of fouling your composter with loose carbon particles, Airthereal embeds a carbon filter inside the machine to help capture unpleasant odors from food waste.

Remove the Black Sticker before install

WHEN TO REPLACE

Replacing the air filter every 6 months is recommended for optimal use (or according to your air filter status).

It is time to replace the air filter when the following signals appear:

Filter Indicator lights up in red;
Clogged filter;
The presence of heavy odors from the unit.

HOW TO REPLACE

Remove the filter cover from the back of electric composter.
Locate and remove the old filter.
Install the new filters. Note: take off the black sticker before installing the filter.
After replacing the filter cartridge, press and hold the filter reset indicator light for 3 seconds. The red light will go offf, the life of the filter cartridge will reset to zero, and the life of the new filter cartridge will be counted again.

NOTE

• The degradable activated carbon filter can be stored for 6 months in the working environment of the kitchen composter and can be stored for more than 1 year in a normal sealed environment.

• If it will not be used for a long time, please remove the activated carbon filter and keep it sealed.
