Product description
BENEFITS OF DEMAGNETISING WATCHES:
The benefit of demagnetising a watch is that it prevents the magnetic field from having an effect on the time accuracy of the watch. When a watch is subjected to a strong magnetic field, it can cause the parts in the movement to become magnetised, which can make the watch run inaccurately. Degaussing removes this magnetisation and ensures that the watch keeps accurate time.
NOTE:
The length of single use should not exceed one minute and continuous use should not exceed two minutes. If the machine gets hot, stop using it immediately. Turn on the power, with the watch face upwards, slowly pass the watch through the round hole from one end of the apparatus and remove it from the other end, when the demagnetisation effect is not good, try to operate in the same direction in multiple directions.
The demagnetiser can demagnetise magnetic objects. When using this product, please pay attention to whether objects that do not need to be demagnetised are placed next to it to avoid unnecessary loss of magnetism and damage.
WHY DO MECHANICAL WATCHES NEED TO BE DEMAGNETISED?
Why does a mechanical watch become magnetised?
The proximity of a mechanical watch to a strong magnetic field, for example next to an electrical appliance or a magnetic object where a magnetic field occurs, may lead to the internal balance spring being magnetised. A watch worn normally for more than 2 years is more or less magnetised.
The mechanical watch magnetised why the time is not allowed to go? How to demagnetise a mechanical watch?
After the balance spring sticking, it will lead to swinging fast, thus causing the time to be off. A compass can be used to detect whether the magnetisation.
When a watch is magnetised it will not go away on its own and will need to be demagnetised with a demagnetiser to restore it to normal.
Watch magnetisation and watch magnetisation detection:
Mechanical watches are exposed to too many objects, such as computers, electric toys, mobile phones, magnets, etc., which cause the hairspring to magnetize and stick, thus causing the watch to go too fast, too slow or stop, in which case a demagnetizer is required to eliminate the watch magnetism.
When the mechanical watch is close to the compass (for magnetic detection only) and rotates around the compass, the compass hand follows the rotation of the watch, which means that the watch is magnetised and needs to be demagnetised by a demagnetiser.
HOW TO USE:
Turn on the power and place the watch face up into the demagnetiser
Press and hold the green button for 3-5 seconds and slowly pass the watch through the hole in the middle of the demagnetiser, do not take too long.
When demagnetisation is complete, release the green button and switch off the power.
If the watch is still magnetised after one operation, it is recommended not to carry out a second operation immediately, but to wait a few hours or the next day to determine if there is any effect before deciding whether to demagnetise it again.
The demagnetiser should not be operated continuously for more than 1 minute and will become slightly hot during the demagnetisation process.
