"First of all, it was the only bike I could find that had NO coaster brakes and 2 hand brakes that was under 150. That said, my son loves "his first pedal bike with no training wheels", even though it is much heavier than his balance bike which, is what we transitioned from. He was excited it had a water bottle holder (very convenient) and a bell."

"There are two models of bike from Royal Baby and they look very similar. This one is supposed to have a rear hand actuated band brake. The other (also available here on Amazon) has a rear foot actuated coaster brake.

Very easy to put together and had all the tools to complete the simple task."
