Painting Concrete with EpoxyShield

Concrete Paint Tips:

Allow new concrete to cure a minimum of 28 days.

Apply when temperature range is 60 to 85 degrees.

Wait 24 hours after coating for light foot traffic.

Wait 3 days after coating for vehicle traffic.

Conduct a moisture test before applying coating

Apply 2x2 sheet of plastic to concrete taping edges down. Wait 72 hours and check for water droplets or evidence of moisture. Wait 72 hours and test again. If moisture is present, use RockSolid Moisture Stop before floor application.

Mix Part A & B for 3 minutes, and apply within 1-2 hours of mixing

Step 1

It's easy to paint your floor with epoxy. First clean with cleaner/degreaser.

Step 2

Using a paint brush, cut in edge of concrete.

Then, apply in 4'x4' sections, using a roller and keeping a wet edge.

Step 3

Use concrete etch to make the concrete porous.

Step 4

Add decorative chips if desired.
