Home Master Modular design was conceived to resolve several industry issues simply and affordably. The most significant problem associated with traditional RO systems is the ‘canister filter’ design, where only the filters are changed, and not the filter housings. Sediment, microorganisms and biofilm can accumulate in the canisters if not scrubbed clean every 6-months, or, over time, they weaken, and ultimately fail with serious consequences.
Home Master’s innovative modular design utilizes exposed components and self-contained modular filters . Push-in fittings make annual filter changes fast and efficient. The modular designreduces microorganism build-up and prevents leaks. Home Master filters last longer than most — only requiring a filter change annually or every 3,900 gallons. When it comes to installation, maintenance and system performance Home Master modular design works beautifully.

Filter changes on traditional RO systems can be a real pain. They often require heavy tools, and brute force to loosen stuck canisters sealed shut by accumulated hardness minerals and other icky contaminants. Home Master makes annual filter changes easier than ever before. Its modular design provides full access and visibility, and push-in-fittings make filter changes quick and painless– no wrenches required.
Home Master Systems use granular carbon in the prefilter rather than carbon block to ensure the water pressure stays strong. Stronger water pressure to the membrane produces more water & less waste.
Some tankless RO systems fail to use a dedicated sediment prefilter, forcing the entire sediment load into their carbon block which, over time, can slow membrane production, increase waste, maintenance requirements & costs. All Home Master systems use a dedicated 5-micron depth sediment prefilter to prolong filter life, and ensure the greatest possible efficiency.

All Home Master RO systems use powerful catalytic carbon media in the carbon prefilter to treat the persistent chemical disinfectant chloramine – now being deployed nationwide to replace chlorine. Ordinary activated carbon fails to adequately filter this new municipal water treatment. Upon contact with ordinary activated carbon, chloramine splits into its constituent chlorine and ammonia parts and then it removes the chlorine. What about the ammonia? -- It takes the more advanced and highly adsorptive carbon media known as catalytic carbon.
This system is powered by water pressure, not expensive electricity. An electric outlet is not needed, and if the power goes out - the Home Master still works.
Because of all the aforementioned efficiency improvements, Home Master RO puts out the fantastic water pressure and is compatible with virtually all refrigerators.
