Maximum working current is 5V 2A. Better sound quality when you use 5V 2A or above. We suggest using 3.7-5V lithium battery. (the lithium battery should have charging protection!)

You may need a charging board when making a wireless speaker. Recommend for use with the Icstation TP4056 Micro USB 5V 1A Charging Board (ASIN:B01LHD9D7E)

Dual 5W Stereo Amplifier

The Bluetooth audio receiver board already has dual 5W power amplifier circuit. It doesn’t need to connect with extra power amplifier. The output of dual amplifiers can not be connected in parallel or connected to the negative electrode, otherwise the power amplifier chip will be damaged.

2-8 ohm and 3-10W speakers are compatible with the receiver board, but 3 ohm&5W or 4 ohm&10W are recommended. It outputs stereo.

USB Port

The on-board USB interface can charge the lithium battery and also used as a 5V power supply port. But please don't use the power supply with unstable voltage and current, such as dry battery, portable charger, multi-function transformer and so on.

How to use

Open the Bluetooth function of your cell phone or other devices with Bluetooth function(such as laptops, tablet PCs, etc.). Please delete other Bluetooth devices that paired before from your phone in case the Bluetooth connection is unstable.
The phone will automatically search and pair with the module named “DW-CT14+”, no pairing code or button needed.
The LED of the module starts to flash after Bluetooth connection.
It will automatically connect to already paired device and automatically shut down after 10 minutes in standby mode.

Note:

For your safety, be sure to use a regular lithium-ion battery with charging protection.
Please use a stable power supply such as 3.7V-5V lithium battery or 5V power adapter. Do not use disposable batteries, power bank, multi-function transformers and other power supply with unstable voltage and current.
The antenna should be far away from metal materials so as not to affect the transmission distance.

I'm having an annoying issue in which the unit does not stay paired.

Advice:

1. It requires high stability of the power supply to reduce signal interference and noise. We recommend you to use 3.7V lithium battery as power supply. Do not use dry batteries, power bank, multi-function transformers and other unstable power supply.

PS: You also need a charging board to protect the lithium battery when charging. The USB port can also used for charging lithium battery.

2. Do not get close to metal parts because metal parts will interfere the module.
