For wooden toys, these include choke tube tests, soaking tests, tensile tests, impact and drop tests (after being compromised by water to replicate prolonged saliva exposure). Fabric and plastic toys undergo rigorous testing to all applicable safety standards as well. Regardless of where a toy is made, the tests at HABA go far beyond the legal requirements. You can trust HABA even when it doesn't say "Made in Germany" on the package.

HABA has earned the reputable ISO 14001:2015 certification. We constantly analyze the influence and impact our company has on the environment and identify potential for improvement. In addition, we have an energy management system, which is certified to the standard ISO 50001:2011. Our aim is to increase the energy efficiency of the HABA Family of Companies and optimize our own consumption of energy. Even when shipping our toys, we use the most resource preserving and recyclable packaging material possible.
