Will this work on any magnet surface or just the fridge?

Poetry Tiles work on most metal surfaces. You could also put them on a whiteboard/message board so you could write in extra words with a dry-erase marker.

Are these magnets strong enough to hold up pictures?

Using small pictures or lots of magnets can work, but if you're planning to put up large pictures or expecting to only use a few magnets per picture, that probably won't work. Each tile is strong enough to magnetize its own weight but not much more than that.

Can I combine this set with other magnetic poem kits?

We have improved the tile height of our kids Poetry Tiles kits to 0.75" which is 2x the height of our other kits, and most of other brands in the market.

Most other kits are .375" tall, which many parents found too small for their children to use enjoyably.

If you are considering combining this kit with other word kits, please be aware that the tile height may differ between the two kits.

Are there repeat words or multiple copies of common words?

Yes, we included multiple copies of useful words. There are a few copies of most pronouns, connecting words (like to, and, but, is, am, etc), and word endings (like -s, -ed, -ly, etc). These duplicates allow for more poems, notes, and stories without needing to break down finished pieces.
