The Light Dome SE is supported by a lightweight fiberglass skeleton and a lightweight stainless steel chuck, the Light Dome SE weighs only 1.09 kg, which is about 1/5 lighter than the Light Dome III, and the fiberglass skeleton is 3 times more durable than a stainless steel skeleton.

Large Soft Light Area in a Small Volume

The 16-pole fiberglass support umbrella bone design allows the Light DomeSE to have a larger circular arc and a wider opening angle, saving space and ensuring a larger soft light area. With a diameter of 85cm and a depth of 45cm, the Light DomeSE breaks away from the traditional rugby ball shape and has a more similar spherical light surface, which will provide a more even and natural soft light effect for shooting.

Softening and Controlling Light

The Light Dome SE comes standard with two professional soft cloths and a beam grille, allowing you to choose between a 1.5-stop or 2.5-stop soft cloth to get a soft light that's better suited to the scene at hand. To prevent light spillage, you can also use the 45° beam grille to control the light source.
