Why no acids?

Most advertised "treatments" for KP include at least one type of exfoliative acid (alpha or beta hydroxy acids). These acids are designed to penetrate between the keratinocytes and cause destruction to the top layer of the skin. That is why these products are used as peels! Unfortunately, this approach has never been proven to help Keratosis Pilaris, and instead causes stinging plus burning.
