Q1: Is MagEZ Case 2 Compatible with Wireless Charging or MagSafe Accessories?

A1:For wireless charger, MagEZ Case 2 for S22 Series is only compatible with some devices of Samsung chargers such as Samsung Wireless Charger Trio. Meanwhile, it may occur that it doesn't work with a wireless charger from another brand. Since a magnet is a foreign object that may interfere with wireless charging.

Q2: Is MagEZ Case 2 Compatible with Wireless Charging or MagSafe Accessories?

A2:For MagSafe accessories, due to the difference in Wireless Power Consortium between Samsung and Apple, our case is not compatible with Apple MagSafe Charger. It could only charge when you power off your phone. When power on, it couldn't. Actually, even without our case, the Samsung Galaxy S22 is not compatible with Apple MagSafe Charger. However, we did test some MagSafe Chargers from other brands and it works well since we embedded MagSafe magnets in our case.

Meanwhile, it may occur that it doesn't work with a MagSafe charger from another brand because magnet is a foreign object that may interfere with wireless charging.

Q3: Why Could This Happen and How We deal with That?

A3: Wireless charging is converted by the magnetic field, and electricity turns magnetic to electricity, so when the wireless charger is charging, there is a magnet next to it, which will interfere with the magnetic field, resulting in abnormal charging, as a result, the wireless charging IC detects foreign objects, and there will be protection.
