About Happy Dotting Company
Happy Dotting Company was founded in 2017 by Anjela, a dot art enthusiast. Anjela is an Australian and still works as a theatre nurse, raised three daughters and has a passion for arts and crafts.
Dot painting is meditative and creative, not to mention beautiful. No wonder Anjela fell in love with dot art! Happy Dotting Company has developed a range of high quality products including the art stone molds and template system. Like the best inventions are born out of necessity so did the art stone molds and dome templates. Anjela realised that ideal shaped natural stones were nearly impossible to acquire or even if accessible shouldn’t be taken from nature. So came about the perfectly shaped art stone molds with their center dot built in, making them ideal for mandala dotting and other forms of art. Now having perfect stones is accessible for all! Happy Dotting Company products are created with the artist's experience and satisfaction in mind. We pride ourselves on supplying only the highest quality.
A few things to mention about casting art stones and tea light holders!
Casting is easy and fun!
Casting is economical - make many castings with reusable molds
Make castings well ahead of time so you always have some ready for your art. Allow them to dry out thoroughly (can take about a week) - any moisture remaining in the casting can result in problems with paint adherence
Many casting powders work well in our molds eg plaster of paris, ultracal 30 - gypsum powder (heavier and less porous - more stone-like), dental powder, hydrocal and cement-based powders, however, our molds have matte interiors therefore resin will not come out shiny.
Please understand casting powder is not included with our molds
