1. If you are experiencing slow WiFi speed, please check whether your router is WiFi 6 and if it is compatible with WiFi 5. Our box supports WiFi 5, and some WiFi 6 routers only operate in the ax mode on the 5GHz frequency, without supporting the compatible WiFi 5 AC mode. This may result in slower speeds. If that's the case, please adjust your router settings to enable the compatible WiFi 5 operating mode; this should improve the speed.
2. If the network can not work, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1). When connecting to WiFi, ensure that the Ethernet connection is disconnected, as Wi-Fi may not function properly if Ethernet is still connected.
2). Additionally, go to "Settings" -> "Device Preferences" -> "Date & Time" -> "Automatic date & time" and check if it's enabled. If not enabled, the device won't be able to access the internet and perform automatic time updates.
If you've followed the above steps and Wi-Fi still doesn't work, try restarting your router and then attempting to connect. Also, reset the box to factory settings from Settings -> Device Preferences -> Factory Reset and try connecting again.
If Ethernet isn't working, check if Wi-Fi is disconnected first, then connect Ethernet. Also, check if the cable in the port is properly inserted. If the above steps don't resolve the issue, try a factory reset.
If you are unable to connect to a hotspot, check whether the device can recognize your phone's hotspot ID. If it recognizes the hotspot but cannot connect, restart Wi-Fi on the TV box and verify if it can detect the hotspot. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset from Settings -> Device Preferences -> Factory Reset, and attempt to connect again. If the device still cannot connect, try using a different phone. For a more convenient TV experience, you can obtain the latest firmware from our support team and perform a simple OTA upgrade to access the TV version of Netfx, which is can be used with a remote control.
5. It's worth noting that many Android TV boxes in the market come with the mobile version of Prime, which may lead to navigation issues when using a remote control. These issues can be easily resolved by utilizing a keyboard or mouse, as most available apps are optimized for mobile devices.
