Here is how to set up the proper screen resolution for the screen:

You can add the lines anywhere in the config.txt file, but it’s common practice to place them at the end of the file for they won’t interfere with other settings, and it’s easier for you to find and edit them later if needed. Here’s what you should do:

1. Open the config.txt file using the command:

sudo nano /boot/config.txt

Add the lines at the end of the file:

disable_overscan=1

hdmi_group=2

hdmi_mode=87

hdmi_cvt=1024 600 60 3 0 0 0

These lines will set your display to the 1024x600 resolution.

2. Save the changes by pressing CTRL + O, then press Enter.

Exit the editor by pressing CTRL + X.

3. Reboot your Raspberry Pi to apply the changes:

sudo reboot

After the reboot, your custom display should show the full resolution you’ve set. If you encounter any issues, you can always go back and edit the config.txt file again to troubleshoot or adjust settings. Remember to ensure that your display is connected properly to the Raspberry Pi before rebooting.

Regardless of the viewing angle, videos and images can be clearly seen, as it is a true IPS screen, not a TN screen substitute . IPS screen provides a full viewing angle but TN screen not.
