Antler Farms New Zealand Bovine Colostrum is collected within 24 hours of calving, when the nutritional value of colostrum is at its highest. The needs of the newborn calf are always met first. We cease collecting colostrum at 24 hours. After about 48 hours, the colostrum becomes transitional milk and finally full milk at about 72 hours.

Our colostrum is transported in a chilled container then spray-dried at a low temperature. It is never frozen. Freezing and thawing can degrade some of colostrum’s active ingredients, as can high temperatures. We are very careful to maintain all of colostrum’s biological components.
