Q: Does the dashcam automatically turn on when connected to the car charger via the cigarette lighter after the car starts?
A: Yes, the driving recorder will automatically turn on and start recording video when it receives power.
Q: What is the initial password for connecting my phone to car's WiFi?
A: The initial password for the WiFi is 12345678, and you can set a new password in the background after logging into the app.
Q: Can't connect WiFi or connect failed?
A: Please remember to authorize the App with the album, location, WLAN & cellulardata and turn off the VPN, security software and anti-virus APP of your mobile phone, otherwise you will not be able to connect to wifi.
Q: Can I connect the dash cam USB-C to my cars USB-C? Will this be enough to power the dash cam?
A: No, the power cord with dual USB-C ports cannot supply power to the dashcam. If you prefer not to use the cigarette lighter for power, you can only use the car's USB port for power ( USB to USB-C power cord ).
Q: If I want to use the parking monitoring function, do I have to purchase the hardware kit separately?
A: Yes, you need to purchase a separate hardware kit to power the dash cam. (ASIN: B0C9M8R4WL).
Q: Why is the WiFi always turned off? Is the dash cam malfunctioning?
A: The dash cam's WiFi will auto turn off if there is no connection activity within 5 minutes. You will need to manually short press the power button to re-enable it.
