The Turbo Swirl ceiling fan has a dual mount installation system. You can install the ceiling fan without the extension rod included to reduce the distance between the ceiling and bottom of the fan, useful in rooms with low ceilings. You can also use 30.5 cm or 46 cm extension rods.

Low Ceilings

Westinghouse offers a wide array of attractive ceiling fans ideal for rooms with low ceilings. Install ceiling fans that fit flush to the ceiling or fans without an extension rod.

Standard Ceilings

In rooms with a ceiling height of 2,50 metres, ceiling fans can be installed with or without an extension rod.

High Ceilings

In rooms with high ceilings, ceiling fans should be installed with an extension rod.

For optimum performance, ceiling fan blades should be at least 2,2 metres from the floor but no higher than 2,50 - 2,80 metres.
