The G-Series range from Makita is a different lithium-ion battery platform to the Makita LXT range of power tools and is powered exclusively by the G-Series battery and DC18WA charger.

The G-Series battery is identifiable by the white or grey top section and offers a 1.5 Ah battery capacity in the 18V platform with a 60 minute charge time.

The 2 speed HP488DAEX1, powered by 18V G-Series battery, is equipped with variable speed controlled by trigger to allow the operator to match the speed to the application to deliver 0 to 21,000 blows per minute on high mode, 0 to 6,000 blows per minute on low mode, 0 to 1,400 rpm on high, 0 to 400 rpm on low and 24/42 Nm maximum fastening torque.

The HP488DAEX1 has an electric brake for increased operator safety, single sleeve keyless chuck to allow the operator easier bit installation and removal with just one hand, 16 torque settings plus drill mode for added fastening control, conveniently located reversing switch and all metal gear construction.

Makita BL1820G 18V Li-ion 2.0 Ah G-Series Battery

The G-Series range from Makita is a different lithium-ion battery platform to the Makita LXT range of professional cordless power tools and is powered exclusively by the G-Series battery and DC18WA charger.

The G-Series is produced to a quality far exceeding that of DIY products.

The G-Series range offers a comprehensive catalogue of tools.

The DC18WA battery charger is suitable for use with BL1813G, BL1815G, BL1820G, BL1413G and BL1415G battery.
