Isaiah 25:1-9

This passage reads almost as if it were plucked from the book of Psalms in its offer of praise to God. While Isaiah described death as "the shroud that enfolds all peoples" (verse 7), he proclaimed that death would be swallowed up forever one day. And God will wipe away tears from each face. What else will God remove? How will people respond?

Galatians 5:13-6:10

Christ-followers are called to be free in Christ and to serve one another. What fruit of the Spirit should be growing in a Christian's life (see 5:22-23)? What does it mean to reap what you sow in both the physical and spiritual sense (see 6:7)? What does Paul encourage believers not to become weary in and why (see 6:9)?

Luke 12:22-34

Jesus told his disciples not to be worriers. What examples from nature did he say to "consider" as evidence that worry is not worth your time and energy?
