Tarot of the Sorceress - A witch's wheel of the year
Discover concealed oracle messages and bring to light your hidden depths with the Tarot of the Sorceress. Inspired by pagan spirituality, this deck revolves around the seasonal festivals, sabbats and solar events that comprise the wheel of the year and rituals encompassing the four elements of air, water, fire and earth.
The Major Arcana cards embrace the great movements of the wheel of the year while the Minor Arcana cards are tools in the service of the Major Arcana, depicting sabbats, seasons, moon cycles, sacred figures, constellations, planets, crystals and plants. Each element has its own force, but together the cards take on different symbols. This striking tarot, with it’s beautiful black and white illustrations and metallic highlights, reflects the magical and mystical world. It can be used for divination or during rituals.
Tarot of the Sorceress cards
The Magician - starting out, tools, potential, skills
Expressing a potential, The Magician is preparing the tools and is in an energy of action, evolving the idea of a creation, something practical to bring to life. This figure of potentiality can sometimes indulge in showing off or creating magical illusion.

The Emperor - bringing to life, crystallisation, new projects, confidence, wisdom
The Emperor is surrounded by multiple symbols of the sun: the four-petal flower of Kinich Ahau, the rays of Amaterasu, the serpent of Re and the ideogram of Shamash. Confidence, protection and motivation are the feelings that accompany this bright, powerful card. Traditional key words: stability, domination, responsibility, rationalism, order, strength, paternity, mastering the material world.
Temperance - rebirth, communication, alternation
With his/her light and alternation Temperance forges a connection between Samhain, a night of otherworldly creatures, and The Devil card, which represents an inner, hidden world. How to use Tarot of the Sorceress
The meanings of the cards are like a compass to define your own language. At first you may need to stick closely to the interpretations in the booklet, but with experience and practice in readings the meanings will connect with your mind, imagination, life experience and way of thinking just as a novel may be adapted instead of translated literally.
What is interesting about the Rider-Waite tradition I have drawn inspiration from is the illustrations on each card. Each element of artwork, each figure, tells a story in this booklet that will put you on the track of the card’s meaning without necessarily having to learn that meaning. You may also find yourself imagining your own stories through the imagery, which will mean that you are on your way to owning your tarot. The booklet also includes a short description for each card.
