Slip Joint Connections

Slip joint connections quickly install and are easily removable, as well as adjustable, which reduces the need to cut pipes to a precise length. Both brass and plastic pipes use the same slip joint nuts and washers and the two materials can be used interchangeably within an existing plumbing system.

Reducing Washers

Some installations require a transition between the two common pipe sizes, 1 1/4" OD and 1 1/2" OD, in order to complete the plumbing system. Using a reducing washer adapts between the two pipe sizes and allows the connection to be made. You will find reducing washers are included with many parts and also sold separately.

Kitchen / Bathroom

There are two common pipe sizes found in undersink drainage, 1 1/4" OD and 1 1/2" OD. In most installations 1 1/4" is used with bathroom sinks and 1 1/2 is used in kitchen sinks.
