How it Works

Gelfuse Technology saturates, penetrates and fuses the hair for vibrant, long lasting, fade resistant results.

What to Prepare

Wella ColorCharm Permanent, bowl & brush, gloves, towel, old t-shirt, protective barrier cream (like coconut oil) and a timer.

Mixing and Applying for First-time Color

All- over color:

1. Section the hair in 4 quadrants by creating a centered part from forehead to nape and from ear to ear. 2. Mix 1 part WELLA colorcharm gel 7N + 7NG with 2 parts 20 vol. developer* 3. Starting at the crown. Take a ½ inch horizontal sections and start applying 1 inch off the scalp through the ends and working towards the nape. Repeat in each quadrant, finishing in the front sections. Process 10 minutes. Do not rinse.

*Mix 1:2 ratio (for example 1oz 7N + 1oz 7NG= 4 oz. 20 vol. developer)

Continue Application & Process

4. Apply all over the roots. Process for additional 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water and gently emulsify until water runs clear. Shampoo and condition.
