Pre-Laundry Check

Make sure all the cuffs on jeans and shirts are uncuffed, all zippers on jackets and trousers are zipped up, all drawstrings on sweats are tightly tied together. Unbutton all shirts. Check all pockets for any stowaway items!

Unwad Clothing before Loading the Dryer

Shaking out clothing & linens before adding them to the dryer will help reduce wrinkles and possibly help you avoid ironing later. It works best for cotton blend long sleeve shirts and pants.

Dry Efficiently

Whenever possible, dry full loads of laundry instead of a few items at a time. The items will actually dry quicker and it’s a more efficient use of energy. But don’t over stuff the dryer!
