Product description
Welcome to UFO Tops!
Initially launched on Kickstarter on October 2017, UFO Tops are pocket-sized metal spinning tops that come in two series - Andromeda and Triangulum. The Andromeda Series features a rubber spin grip and ceramic ball tip for enhanced spin times (3-6 minutes.) Triangulum, launched in January 2022 and features a swappable Power Core machined grip, ceramic spin ball, bi-metal design and longer spin times (3-9 minutes).
UFO Tops are fun for kids and adults alike. Each of the six models are inspired by historical events - Roswell, New Mexico - Cussac, France - Rendlesham, England - Lubbock, Texas - Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia and Height 611, Soviet Union.
We are passionate about telling these unique UFO stories and creating a piece of spinning art that will last a lifetime.

Andromeda Series UFO Sighting Events
Roswell, New Mexico 1947
In July, 1947 northwest of Roswell, New Mexico, rancher Mac Brazel discovered shiny metal debris. Soon after, the headline in the Roswell Daily Records was, "RAAF Captures Flying Saucer on Ranch in Roswell Region." Rumors quickly swirled throughout the country ranging from crashed weather balloons to secret military projects to alien sightings. Thousands visit Roswell each year in search of the truth.
Cussac, France, 1967
In late summer of 1967, in the town of Cussac, France, a 13-year-old boy François and his 9-year-old sister Anne Marie were peacefully herding cows in a field when they were startled by a bright, spherical-shaped object off in the distance. They saw four small black beings about 47" tall enter the craft. When the UFO flew away it left a smell of sulfur and a circle of dried grass.
Rendlesham, England, 1980
On a cold December night in 1980 near Rendlesham Forest, England, two USAF security patrolmen saw an angular metallic object with pulsating red and blue lights off in the distance. Hovering, the UFO illuminated the forest with an intense white light. As the officers approached the light, the UFO sped off through the trees. USAF deputy base commander Lieutenant Colonel Charles I. Halt described the event in what is known as the Halt memo.
Triangulum Series UFO Sighting Events
Dalnegorsk, Primorsky Krai, Soviet Union, 1986
The Height 611 UFO incident was the reported impact of a reddish ball traveling at approximately 34 mph, 700 meters above the ground. When the object reached the hill known as Height 611 it started to descend then crashed into the hill. Mesh fragments and beads were discovered at the crash site. Radiation levels were confirmed to be normal. Film from cameras with photos of the scene later developed as blank.
Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia, 1967
The Shag Harbour UFO incident was the reported impact of an unknown large object into waters near Shag Harbour, Nova Scotia, a tiny fishing village on the Atlantic coast, on October 4, 1967. Local resident, Laurie Wickens and four of his friends were driving through Shag Harbour on Highway 3 when they saw a large object descending into the water off the harbour. Getting out of the card to get a better view, Wickens and his friend saw an object floating 275m offshore in the waters. In a panic, Wickens called the police to report the crash.
Lubbock, Texas, 1951
On the evening of Aug. 25, 1951, three professors - Dr. A.G. Oberg, Dr. W.L. Ducker, and Dr. W.I. Robinson observed peculiar flashing lights in the sky. Again on Sept. 5, these three men along with two other professors saw lights, "appeared to be about the size of a dinner plate and they were greenish-blue, slightly fluorescent in color. They were smaller than the full moon at the horizon. There were about a dozen to fifteen of these lights... they were absolutely circular... it gave all of us... an extremely eerie feeling."
Colorful, collectible and unique packaging, great for gifts young and old.
