Does “responsive” mean it will auto rewind?

No. “responsive” mean while K1 is spinning at the end of the string, it will come back to your hands with just a tug, you can use this yoyo play more interesting basic yoyo tricks (1A 3A 5A), but no support auto rewind. If you want auto rewind, you need to choose an auto return yoyo. It usually have centrifugal clutch system,that opens to allow super long spins and then closes to force the return.When you throw it down, it will sleep and then remember to come back automatic. In responsive mode, if the yo yo do not come back sensitively, it is advised to add few lubricating oil or rust-proof oil into the bearing (add the oil inside and outside of the bearing).
