The new compact circular saw is slimmer and more powerful featuring increased motor power enclosed in a brand new ergonomic slim-body design.

What is a compact circular saw and how is it different than a traditional saw?

Compact circular saws have smaller diameter blades and are easy to handle. Smaller, thinner blades take less effort to cut through up to 2 in. thick materials. The handle behind the blade offers excellent cut-line visibility and maneuverability.

How long is the power cord?

The power cord is 6.5 ft. long.

Can I bevel cut with this saw? Is it possible to plunge cut with this saw?

This compact circular saw is capable of bevel cuts up to 45 degrees, at thicknesses up to 1-1/8 in. at a 45 degree bevel. You can also plunge and pocket cut up to 1-11/16 in. thickness.

What kind of materials can I cut with this compact circular saw?

Included is a carbide-tipped, 24T, wood cutting blade. Other blades are available to cut a variety of different materials. Make sure to choose the correct blade for the material and saw size.

And the smaller blade—4-1/2” compared to the 7-1/4” of a traditional circular saw—requires less power to get up to the same speeds of much larger saws. That puts less strain on the motor and extends the life of the tool. The Worxsaw is made for wood, but it’ll cut many materials. The left-sided blade housing gives you clean lines of sight for your cuts and the dust port lets you attach a vacuum and keep sawdust out of your way. An included parallel guide will come in handy as you and your Worxsaw make quick work of the projects around your shop.
