You no need to select the input voltage (by the selector) manually and worry about setting transformer not properly will damage the transformer itself and the device plugged in any more. Auto Step Up and Step Down (110/120V <> 220/240V ) with super-quiet performance.

Step Up/Down transformer converts 220-240 volts down to 110-120 Volts or 110-120 volts up to 220-240 volts.
Simultaneous 3-mode Output: 120V (Standard US outlet) / 220V (UK outlet and EU outlet).
Tips: This transformer does NOT convert the voltage frequency, but for most appliacnes, they can run with both 50Hz and 60Hz.
