No. Eve Light Switch integrates seamlessly with regular 3-way switches, and you only need to replace one switch in your circuit. You can chose which one to replace, and the status will always be correct, no matter which switch you operate.

Can I install Eve Light Switch on my own?

Eve Light Switch requires knowledge of electrical wiring. Ask an electrician for help.

Is Eve Light Switch a 3-way switch?

Eve Light Switch (3rd generation) can be used in rooms with single-pole or 3-way switches simply by replacing one switch within the light switch circuit. The 1st and 2nd generation of Eve Light Switch are not intended for use in a 3-way installation where lights are controlled by more than one switch.
