  • X=MORE GAIN: The CL-X provides up to +36dB of ultra-clean gain in Max mode. Perfectly suited for using low-output microphones to capture quieter source material such as acoustic instruments, podcasting, ASMR, or even Foley.
  • MORE VIBE: We partnered with CineMag to develop a custom nickel transformer with huge bandwidth, adding the element of dynamic character. Combined with the ultra-clean gain of the Cloudlifter core, the CL-X is responsive to the signal you give it.
  • MORE OPTIONS: With the addition of the custom transformer, you may want to apply some of this “mojo” to additional applications. The selectable output attenuator allows you to decrease the gain from the CL-X, yielding up to 12dB, in order to capture louder applications such as an SM57 on a snare or loud guitar amp.
  • PLUG AND PLAY: The CL-X is compatible with dynamic, ribbon, and tube microphones – safe for all passive ribbons and does not pass phantom
  • MADE IN THE USA: All Cloudlifter electronics are made on the Navajo Nation in Arizona and entirely designed, manufactured and assembled in the USA.
