1.The XIM MATRIX and XIM MATRIX Manager must be the same version.
2.Make sure that Bluetooth permission is enabled on the device you are using with the Manager app. (Some PCs may need to purchase a separate Bluetooth receiver.)
I want to update the XIM Matrix firmware, but my PC can't recognize it. What should I do?
If you are having trouble upgrading the firmware on your PC, try the following troubleshooting steps:
1.Restart your PC.
2.Try a different USB port on your PC.
3.Try a different USB cable.
4.Boot in safe mode. 5.Try a different PC.

If the iOS XIM MATRIX Manager beta is full, please prioritize the PC or Android versions. You will have to wait for the official or next beta release from XIM.
Why does my PS5 Remote Play disconnect after connecting successfully? What should I do?
Connect your PS5 via LAN and forget all Wi-Fi networks in settings, as it may still use Wi-Fi. Reset your network by unplugging your PS5, modem, and router for 2 minutes. Note: Poor network connections can cause delays and lags.

Rapid purple blink	Timing Error. If your XIM MATRIX is blinking like this at seemingly random times, it means there are timing errors detected that may result in non-optimal performance. XIM MATRIX is designed for perfect synchronization between your input devices, the translation and mapping of your input, and communication with your console or PC. If timing is off (even by just a millisecond) you will be informed. Check for loose USB connections, faulty cables, hubs, or other hardware.
Repeated yellow blinking	Authentication Controller Disconnect. Your XIM MATRIX has lost communication with your authentication controller. Check the USB connection to your controller (especially if it happened when picking up your authentication controller). Correct any problems and restart your XIM MATRIX.
Repeated red and yellow blink	Power Fault. This means too much power is being drawn by one (or more) of your connected USB devices and your XIM MATRIX shut down its ports to prevent damage to itself. Make sure all rechargeable devices connected are already fully charged before using with your XIM MATRIX. Peripherals with a lot of LEDs (such a keyboards) can be an issue as well.
Startup:redgreenblue blink	Config Corruption. At startup, your XIM MATRIX will notify you if one or more of your Configs are corrupted. Your Configs can be corrupted if your XIM MATRIX loses power while it is writing itself, or, if you restore a backup of your Configs using an older firmware. Unfortunately you won't be able to recover your Configs in this case. You will need to factory reset your XIM MATRIX using the flash tool and rebuild them.
Solid white light	Software Failure. If your XIM MATRIX is not responsive and is showing this type of light, it means there was a crash. This is rare, but, if it does happen, please let us know. Your XIM MATRIX will have information you'll be able to pull for us so we can debug and fix the problem.
Start:yellowcyanpurple blink	Hardware Failure. At startup, your XIM MATRIX does self-diagnostic hardware checks on itself. Seeing this means there is a hardware failure. This notification is extremely rare. If you see it, please let us know.

Troubleshooting PlayStation 5

Registration Problems	If you went through the registration process and it is failing, there may be something about your local network that is blocking your XIM MATRIX from finding your PS5.
Network Connections	Make sure your XIM MATRIX and PlayStation 5 are connected directly to the same network switch or router.
Manual Registration	1.Start normal registration 2.Press and hold Cancel 3.Keep pressing until you enter the manual registration screen 4.Enter your encoded Account ID (not just "Account ID") 5.Press Continue to finish. If the problem persists, repeat manual registration, but make sure you also enter your PS5's network address. You can find your PS5's IPv4 address in: [Settings/Network/Connection Status/View Connection Status] and select "Enter your PS5's IP address" and enter it. Press Continue to finish.
Initial Connection Problems	If you were able to register successfully but are unable to connect for the first time. Please make sure that: 1.You do not have a PIN set up on your account, if you do, remove it 2.You do not have auto-login enabled If your XIM MATRIX is unable to connect to your PlayStation 5, or if it was connecting and stopped, or you are having performance issues, please follow these troubleshooting steps.
Reconnection Problems	If your XIM MATRIX connected normally to your PS5 without issue but now it isn't connecting at all, it's very likely that your PS5's local network address changed. This can be caused by: 1.Fully powering down your PS5 2.Your PS5 switching between wired and Wifi Normally your XIM MATRIX will rediscover the address, but, if it isn't, you will need to reregister.
Performance Issues	If experiencing input performance issues, please make sure your PlayStation 5 isn't connected over Wifi. Even if you set up your PS5 via wired, it can at times switch back to Wifi under certain circumstances.
