Unfiltered: Living Raw, Real, & Redeemed by Jesus: Devotional Guide

When I was talking to Jesus about what He wanted us to dig into in this book, I kept coming back to this word: Unfiltered. The real version of you and me. I believe that now more than ever it is vital that you and I fight to bring this version of ourselves to Jesus. There is a myth that perfection is possible, and that Jesus expects us to sort through our emotions before spending time with Him. I can't think of a more dangerous untruth. There is no way to properly sort through your emotions apart from God, the One who made your heart. Only He knows the weight of your sadness, the strength of your joy, and the tenacity of your frustration.

I pray that as you work through this guide, you will discover that Jesus is always your safe space. In whatever season you are navigating, He will always provide the refuge that you need and the peace your spirit craves.
