BOSS Audio Systems BASS10 10 Inch Powered Under Seat Car Subwoofer - 1000 Watts Max, Single 4 Ohm Voice Coil, Remote Subwoofer Control, Sold Individually
Space Saver - If you are tight on space, this is a great solution for you. The combination of amplifier and subwoofer all into one, makes this ideal for spatially challenged vehicles. With a slim design, there are a few installation options
Pulse Width Modulated - PWM simplifies power supplies. It controls the output voltage and current precisely by not only removing the output current sensing loss, but also eliminating all secondary feedback circuitry. Efficiency. Increased reliability
Variable Low-Pass Filter - A low-pass filter is an electronic circuit that removes all the notes below the filter's frequency setting. You will use the Low-pass filter to primarily keep high notes out of your subwoofer(s)
High Level Inputs - Speaker level inputs are commonly referred to as high-level inputs. It will be used to connect the BASS10 to your factory radio or an aftermarket radio that does not have low-level (RCA) inputs
Low Level Inputs - Line level inputs, also known as RCA inputs or low-level inputs, use RCA interconnect cables to link the BASS10 with the source unit. Most aftermarket radios have multiple pairs of RCA outputs that can connect to multiple amplifiers
Variable Bass Boost - Variable Bass Boost allows you to adjust the low bass within the boost range to just the way you like it
Specs - Dimensions: 14” x 12.3” x 3.3”, Weight: 11.35 lbs. Phase control. LED status indicator. Thermal, Short and Overload Protection Circuits. High Performance Voice Coil. Rubber Surround. Aluminum Cone

From the manufacturer
Break Your Subwoofer In
Much like the engine of a new automobile, a new subwoofer must go through a short but important process of “break-in” before it is run under harsh conditions. The “break-in” process will ensure the subwoofer is able to perform as it has been designed to. This process involves subjecting the subwoofer to no more than low-to-medium volume levels for a number of hours in the enclosure.
3-4 hours is generally sufficient for the subwoofer’s suspension to loosen enough to prevent the voice coil(s) from overheating and causing failure. The break-in period is also effective in extending subwoofer life. Over-driving the woofer before it has been properly broken-in will usually result in premature failure and poor performance.
Deep Bass - Low Profile
Enjoy the rich sound of Bass in just about any vehicle with the BOSS Audio Systems BASS10 10 inch Low Profile Amplified Subwoofer. A 1000 watt built-in amplifier powers the subwoofer. The BASS10 can be hooked up to just about any in-dash stereo. With a height of just 3 inches, it's a perfect solution when space is an issue as it can easily fit under the seat of most vehicles.

S/N ratio: 90 dB, Frequency response: 30 to 150 Hz
Built-In Amplifier
Systems with a built-in amplifier do not require the addition of an external amp. They already have the power to play louder.
High and Low Level Inputs
High-level inputs accept speaker output signals and low-level inputs accept pre-amp output signals to allow for the addition of amps and processors to standard factory or aftermarket source units.
MOSFET Power Supply
Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistors quickly switch from full to non-conduction for high efficiency output.
Class A/B Amplifier
Our Class-A/B amplifiers feature specific linear circuitry that increases sound quality and power output while reducing distortion and improving efficiency.
Variable Low Pass Filter
Variable low-pass filter gives you control over the frequencies that pass through to the subwoofer.
Bass Boost
Variable Bass Boost allows you to adjust the low bass within the boost range to just the way you like it.
Phase Control
Phase control lets you switch the speaker phase with the amp if your speakers or subwoofer are hooked up 'out of phase'.
Variable Input Control
The Variable Input Control allows the amplifier input to match the output signal from the head unit to achieve optimum performance when adjusted properly.
