The legal-size platen accommodates books and three-dimensional objects up to 4.4 lbs. Reproduce at 13 cpm in resolutions of 600 x 600 dpi. Digital technology delivers a scaled range of 50 percent reduction to 200 percent enlargement and presets 50 percent, 64 percent, 78 percent, or 129 percent and 200 percent. Two-on-one copy mode reproduces two original documents on one page. Make multiple copies to 99. Set the quality from automatic to manual, photo mode, and toner saver. The cartridge yields approximately 5,000 copies.
Fax documents from platen glass, from the ADF, or from the 79-page memory. The fax modem (14.4 KBps) provides up to 400 dpi. Programmable with an LCD display of two lines of 20 characters: use 12 one-touch dialing, 100 coded speed dials, 111 group dialing. Also available are regular dialing, auto-redial, and manual redialing. For networking, the unit supports sequential broadcasting, automatic reception, remote reception, and automatic fax/telephone switchover. You can select a distinctive ring or nonring.
