How to Use - Basic Contouring
1. Apply sunscreen and foundation as evenly as possible.
2. Sweep a little amount of loose powder along the face line.
(To prevent clumping due to oiliness or foundation)
3. Gently apply an adequate amount of contour powder.
Contouring TIP! : To make a natural shadow, apply layer by layer rather than applying it thickly all at once.
For the Jawline [Lower jaw, side jaw, cheekbone, temple]
1. Sweep across the cheekbone to the jawbone
2. Apply across the jawline, towards your chin
3. Blend the product beneath the chin back and forth
4. Create shadows across the jawline
5. Contour cheek area 6. Beginning at the temple, sweep along the cheekbone
For the Nose [Nose contour for each shape]
Short Nose: Softly contour the entire bridge of the nose from the front of the eyebrows to the tip of the nose. (TIP. Highlight between eyebrows and on nose bridge for more depth)
Long Nose: Connect with the front of the eyes to contour and finish by brushing the tip of the nose in a circular motion (TIP. Highlight between eyes for a T-shaped sculpt)
Round Nose: Contour the round parts of the nose and shape the tip of the nose into a pointy shape
Pointy Nose: Apply gently from the tip of the nose towards the philtrum. (Warning! If you contour along the whole nose bridge, it will look longer)
For the Nose [Nose contour for each shape]
Snub Nose: Apply gently from the start of the eyebrows to the nostrils and sweep the nostrils in a V shape. (TIP. Highlight from between the eyes to the middle of the nose bridge)
Flat Nose: Define the bridge of the nose by contouring between the nose and cheek, and apply in a 'n' shape lightly around the nostrils. (TIP. Highlight the tip of the nose)
Aquiline Nose: Lightly stroke the most protruding part of the nose horizontally. (Warning! If you contour the whole nose bridge, the nose may look bigger.)
Bent Nose: Contour the short side with long strokes and long side with short strokes, then add contour on the longer nostril area.
For the Eyes [Undereye & outer corner contouring]
Undereyes: Lightly sweep the lower area of the undereyes.
Outer Corner: Draw a guideline from a point slightly spaced from the eye tail, towards the middle of the eye.
