The king of Denmark dies suddenly. His widow, Gertrude, hastily marries the late husband's brother Claudius, who is proclaimed the new-king. A ghost appears to Prince Hamlet and informs him that he has been treacherously poisoned by his own brother. At first, a shy and dreamy young man, a thirst for revenge and hatred for the killer of his father, and pity for the deceived mother, following his own feelings, is maturing. In turn, Claudius also wants the death of his stepson.
