How can I add essential oil to a humidifier correctly?

The humidifier is equipped with an essential oil box. Please add essential oil to the essential oil box and do not add it to the water tank or base. Essential oil will corrode the humidifier and cause the water tank or base to crack.

Can the humidity ratio displayed on the humidifier screen be manually set？

The humidity ratio cannot be manually set, it is automatically adjusted by a humidity sensor to provide a more suitable humidity for your environment. But you can set three levels of fixed mist output.

Is it normal to have standing water in the base when you refill the water reservoir?

Yes, it's normal. The water flowing from the tank to the base when you add water and place it back is part of the humidifier's operation. It draws water from the tank and disperses it through the base to increase room humidity.

Can I use tap water or is distilled water preferred?

It depends on where you live. In some areas, water is richer in minerals. The humidifier won’t instantly go haywire if you do use tap water, but in the long term will cause scale and you need to maintain it more often. Distilled water is recommended.

How often does the humidifier need to be cleaned?

We suggest changing the water source in the water tank every day to avoid bacterial growth, and performing a deep cleaning once a week. Please refer to the user manual for details.
