A1: Rest assured, we've taken the Steam Deck's air duct into consideration when designing this transparent case. We've carefully positioned the opening to align directly with the fan's air intake, shortening the airflow path and increasing circulation speed to expedite the heat dissipation process. This design aims to remove heat more efficiently from the internal heat-conducting copper tube of the Steam Deck, thus enhancing the device's performance. To ensure the original heat dissipation air duct isn't compromised, we've included pre-cut silicone grease and preserved space for the original air intake. This maintains the air intake's functionality and keeps smooth airflow inside the device.

• Q2: Will dust get in after making an opening in the Transparent Back Plate?

A2: No need to worry, we've installed a 50-mesh dust filter over the fan's hole capable of blocking dust particles up to approximately 300 microns in diameter. This type of mesh prevents larger airborne particles, like dust and pollen, from entering the fan area, while maintaining effective airflow and cooling. However, we also recommend cleaning the dust filter regularly and avoiding use in excessively dusty environments.

• Q3: Can it be used in conjunction with a protective case?

A3: The clear case's perforated design is specifically aimed at maximizing airflow and effectively dissipating internal heat. Pairing it with other protective or silicone cases could potentially obstruct the cooling vents, disrupt the thermal management, and impair the device's performance. Therefore, we recommend using this clear case separately to ensure the best protection and heat dissipation for your device.
