Unlike the Andon Hakama, the Umanori Hakama has separated legs on the internal part. This makes it comfortable to wear and to walk with.

Washable and Anti-Wrinkles

Conveniently machine washable even at home, the fabric is hard to wrinkle and it can also be ironed.

Smooth fabric

Entirely made in Polyester and firmly machine-sewn, this Hakama is easy to handle and comfortable to wear.

It has the right amount of softness, but it will not loose its shape nor wrinkle easily.

Anti-slip spatula tag

It comes with a spatula-shaped anti-slip tag.

Once you have tied your Hakama's front string, inserting the tag between your Obi belt and the Hakama string will prevent it from slipping down when you move.

For formal occasions or Japanese traditional activities

Hakama is an essential item of clothing in Japanese Traditional fashion for men.

Formerly common in Samurai's outfit, is still very popular nowadays as elegant apparel for ceremonies and events or traditional activities such as Ikebana or Tea Ceremony.

Japanese Martial Arts Uniform

Combining the length and width of a skirt, useful to hide legs and feet, and the ease of movement of pants, the Hakama is a long-time part of Japanese Martial Arts uniforms such as Kendo, Iaido or Aikido.
