KA-6L Original Plastic BeaterBlade is compatible with KitchenAid 6 and 7 Qt Bowl-Lift Stand Mixers

The BeaterBlade is designed to scrape the sides of your mixing bowl, which means it has to touch the sides of the bowl and might make some noise!

The Original BeaterBlade frame is made from high impact plastic. It's flexible plastic blades press against the bowl to scrape batter and mix in a downward motion but they flex enough so the blade rotates freely.

Tips & tricks for a successful fit & mixing:

Secure bowl on stand mixer and attach the BeaterBlade; lift bowl into locked position
Be patient when putting the BeaterBlade on your mixer, it might be a snug fit in the bowl
Never operate BeaterBlade in an empty bowl, it could damage the blade. For a smooth start, wipe a small amount of butter along the plastic blades
The BeaterBlade might make some noise & cause mixer bowl to move a little; it is, after all, pressing against the bowl edges to scrape & mix the batter
To fine tune the blade-to-bowl contact, so blade turns freely (with ingredients in the bowl!), use the mixer height adjustment: turn clockwise to lower the bowl or counterclockwise to raise the bowl
Use BeaterBlade as a hand-held spatula to scrape batter out of the bowl and into the pan

Efficient and Thorough Mixing without Scraping the Bowl

The Original BeaterBlade cuts mixing times by up to 50%, giving you more time to create other things…like frosting. Cake batters come out silky smooth, cookie doughs are thoroughly blended and anything else you can dream up will be mixed better than using the flat beater. Go ahead…mix something delicious.

By continuously scraping the sides of the mixing bowl, the Original BeaterBlade virtually eliminates batter build-up and the need to hand-scrape the mixing bowl. It directs ingredients into the center of the bowl and incorporates ingredients 100% for perfect consistency every time. When mixing is complete, take the BeaterBlade off the mixer and it will double as a spatula for your final stir.

The Original BeaterBlade from New Metro Design is always made in the USA. The Original BeaterBlade replaces the flat beater that comes with most stand mixers. The patented Wing-Blade technology virtually eliminates the need for hand-scraping the bowl and pushes ingredients down to the dimple, in the bottom of the bowl, completely combining all ingredients, 50% faster. To achieve a fluffy, aerated mixture (think creamed butter and sugar), beat at a higher speed. To achieve a smooth, thick mixture (think cheese cake), beat at lower speed.
