Asian-style Flank Steak
Ingredients
· 1 lb flank steak, cut into strips
· 4 tbsp cornstarch
· Black pepper to taste
· 1 tbsp grated ginger
· 3 garlic cloves, minced
· 2/3 cup beef stock
· 2 tbsp soy sauce
· 2 tbsp light brown sugar
· 2 scallions, chopped
· 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Servings: 4 Cooking Time: 25 Minutes
1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Sprinkle the beef with 3 tbsp of cornstarch and pepper, then toss to coat. Line the frying basket with round parchment paper with holes poked in it. Add the steak and spray with cooking oil.
2.Bake or 8-12 minutes, shaking after 5 minutes until the beef is browned. Remove from the fryer and set aside. Combine the remaining cornstarch, ginger, garlic, beef stock, soy sauce, sugar, and scallions in a bowl and put it in the frying basket.
3.Bake for 5-8 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes until the sauce is thick and glossy. Plate the beef, pour the sauce over, toss, and sprinkle with sesame seeds to serve.
