In the early 1990s professional hitting coach Joe Tanner developed a hand-rolled, flexible rubber tee top and an adjustable metal stem. Over time, Joe's new batting tee evolved into Tanner Tees. Today, we are still family owned and operated, and each tee is still hand assembled in Sarasota, FL.
