Backed by NASA, National Science Foundation and Racing Communities
TriboTEX is a revolutionary breakthrough in engine coating technology. This technology was constructed with over one million dollars of research and development support from the National Science Foundation and NASA. In 2017, TriboTEX also earned the Defense Innovation Award by TechConnect and was used in the 2,650 hp world champion unlimited hydroplane boat Miss Madison.
What Does Reverse Wear Mean?
Is your car, truck, or van's engine getting noisy? TriboTEX can make your car engine, motorcycle, diesel truck, lawn mower or any other machine last longer, run better, and quieter. No matter what you drive, bearings in engines wear away from use and become noisy, but one TriboTEX treatment can replace this worn away material with a strong coating that endures multiple oil changes. With TriboTEX you will enjoy your vehicle for longer.
Smart Nanotechnology Treats Engine Wear at the Source
During normal operation, when added to engine oil, the nano flakes in TriboTEX attach to metal surfaces (sticky side down), particle by particle, leaving the slick sides facing outward. After 500 miles of driving (don't worry it does not have to be all at once) a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating is formed that reverses wear and repairs bearings. The coating is smart and only forms on metal bearing surfaces. It’s like ceramic protective coatings used in some of high-performance engines, but it reduces friction 10X BETTER than engine oil alone. TriboTEX is also non-toxic, safe, and made by scientists in the USA.
Simply Add to Your Engine Oil
Add TriboTEX to your engine oil. It may be added to a warmed-up or cold engine, and is easiest to add during an oil change. The smart ceramic coating forms as you drive. Please allow at least 500 miles of normal driving to notice the full benefits of TriboTEX, but do not worry, these miles do not have to be driven all at once. Our specialists recommend treating your engine every 40,000 miles. Always check your oil level and change it regularly.
